Every summer, al fresco movie screenings are organised at dusk (from 9:30pm) in various places of the capital (all movies in original version). Find below the main events of this year! Don’t forget warm clothes and a blanket to sit on, staying there for hours may not be that comfortable…

It’s the best time of the year for Jazz and picnics and until 07/26, al fresco jazz concerts take place every weekend in the Parc Floral located in the Bois de Vincennes close to the Château de Vincennes. The place in itself is a beautiful botanical garden to stroll and rest amidst flower beds and, on Saturdays and Sundays, three concerts take place at 12:00, 14:15 and 16:00 on two scenes specially set for the occasion. On Saturdays 06/13 and 06/27 and Sunday 07/26, extra performances will be shown at 21:00.

From Feb. 12, the museum La Pinacothèque located place de la Madeleine is showcasing an exhibition about the Art Nouveau developed in Vienna at the start of the 20th century under the name Secession.

As the third event of its inaugural phase, Fondation Louis Vuitton presents a major exhibition entitled Keys to a passion. It gathers a select choice of important works which have been key to the development of modernity, and have changed the course of art history in the 20th century. It includes works from artists such as Mondrian, Malevich, Rothko, Delaunay, Léger, Picabia, Munch, Dix, Giacometti, Matisse, Kupka and Severini.
