Every summer, al fresco movie screenings are organised at dusk (from 9:30pm) in various places of the capital (all movies in original version). Find below the main events of this year! Don’t forget warm clothes and a blanket to sit on, staying there for hours may not be that comfortable…

It’s the best time of the year for Jazz and picnics and until 07/26, al fresco jazz concerts take place every weekend in the Parc Floral located in the Bois de Vincennes close to the Château de Vincennes. The place in itself is a beautiful botanical garden to stroll and rest amidst flower beds and, on Saturdays and Sundays, three concerts take place at 12:00, 14:15 and 16:00 on two scenes specially set for the occasion. On Saturdays 06/13 and 06/27 and Sunday 07/26, extra performances will be shown at 21:00.

From May 21st to 24th the Grand Palais will transform into a foodie wonderland for 4 days of eating, drinking and entertainment.

Paris’s public-transportation systems are so good that many Parisians go through life and never learn how to drive. Their wheels are trains, subways, trams, and buses (plus the occasional taxi). By riding with the locals, even you can take advantage of Paris’s convenient network of buses and rails.
